Speaker

Invitations
  • Dinner invitations from the Chair to members of senior faculty
  • Invitation and Announcement to the Hamilton Family
  • Invitation and Announcement to R. Winters
  • Invitation and Announcement to S. Dittmann
Printing:
  • Announcement to printing
Publicity: Distribution of Announcement: Lecture Room Preparation:
  • Reserve lecture room with room assignment coordinator - undergraduate office assistant.
  • Ask building services foreman to have room cleaned (building services dept.)
  • Shampoo rug if necessary; vacuum,dust
  • Have the blackboard washed
  • Turn on airconditioning if necessary
  • Water pitcher
  • Arrange for A/V equipment as requested by speaker
  • Reserve first two rows with signs (signs are in the Hamilton Lecture folder)
Media Services
  • Request to videotape lecture
  • Release form to speaker for signature (get form from Media Services)
  • Signed release form back to media services
  • Order copies of video tapes for the following: department, speaker, Hamilton lecturer family, R. Winters.
Security
  • Letter to security requesting doors to Lobby and Brush Gallery to remain open (8-3134)
Reimbursements
  • Give the host a travel voucher to be filled out and signed by the speaker. Process expense vouchers for all lecture related expenses.
