Summer internships in Germany
The Steuben-Schurz-Gesellschaft e.V. would like to announce that we are now accepting applications for the 2007 season of the USA-Interns program. The USA-Interns program organizes summer internships for American students in Germany and for German students in the USA. The program is open to students from all disciplines who will have completed their sophomore year prior to commencing their internship. Applications from graduate students are welcome.
The internships provide students an opportunity to live and work in a different cultural environment, improve their language skills, and gain work experience abroad over an intensive 2-3 month period. Internships are available in all fields including business, international relations/ politics, IT, the sciences, etc. Participants receive individualized assistance from the program coordinator, who advises them throughout the process both before and after their arrival in Germany. The SSG will apply for the required work permission.
The application deadline for undergraduates for summer 2007 is January 6th, 2007, for graduate students is January 21st, 2007. More information regarding the participant requirements and application process can be found on our homepage at www.usa-interns.org.
